What is Stereoplex marking?

Stereoplex - is a unique technique of mechanical, holographic-like marking, which creates a realistic impression of depth on flat objects. Although the marking depth only ranges from 0.1 to 0.2 mm, the image resembles a 3D object! The Stereoplex technique was invented and developed by Quedex in 2002.
The realistic Stereoplex images can be designed using software, manually (without a computer!) or using the innovative Sensable haptic systems.

Have a look at the images showing Stereoplex marking. Both images were made on 0.9 mm deep metal plates. Although they create an impression of three dimensions, we assure you that they are almost totally flat (the surface unevenness is barely felt). Stereoplex images retain the unique 3D effect even after varnishing!
